1982 was in its end, and I was born in Torroella de Montgrí, a small village in the North-east of Catalunya. My photography liking started very early, first with a vintage camera, but soon I inherited a manual SLR, starting to discover the magical world of photography. Time passed, I started to study Medicine, and with my savings I bought an autofocus SLR, and this passion about painting with light drove me to a fiercy auto-learning that still continues nowadays: reading books and surfing the internet looking for more and more information to improve every day.
Today working as a Doctor, I still find time to my hobby, and for some collaborations.
My other passion, mountaineering, fits perfectly with the camera, and that is why every day I am more hooked to this art. Welcome!
 

 Esteve López i Gómez

 

I was born in 1982 in Teià, a small village near Barcelona. It was quite late when I began to enjoy photography. In fact, since early childhood my passion has been nature in all its forms: observing wonderful landscapes and fauna, its beauty and always surprising behaviour. Step by step I discovered that I could revive this passion time and time again using the camera. Moreover, that I could give the scene a different point of view, being able to show the others the things I felt when I was there. Then, and thanks to Esteve, I realized that when you approach the world with photographer's eyes you can discover a whole universe of details: "In every place you can find a good picture!", Esteve says.
My first experience photographing fauna was in Costa Rica, but it was in Tanzania where I felt hooked to the art of photography.
